A builder you can reach, and a plan you can follow
We started Oliver Nola to give local homeowners a straightforward way to build and renovate: one team that shows up when it says it will and explains every step before it happens.
Construction in the Gulf South asks a lot of a house. Soil moves, storms test every seam and humidity never takes a day off. Over more than 25 years and more than 100 projects, we have learned that the details nobody sees decide how a home holds up, so those are the details we refuse to rush.
When you call us, you speak with the people who will run your project. You get a written estimate you can read line by line, a schedule that is updated as the job moves, and a walkthrough at every milestone. Read more about how we work or browse all of our services.

What you can expect from the first phone call to the final walkthrough.
More than 25 years in the trade
Our team has spent decades on new builds, structural repairs and remodels, so few situations on a job site are new to us.
One contact from start to finish
The person who visits your home stays with your project, which means fewer handoffs and faster answers.
Estimates you can read
Each proposal breaks the work into clear line items, so you can see where your money goes and compare it fairly.
Weather-wise construction
Storm season, humidity and soft ground shape our methods on every job, not only on hurricane repairs.
Respect for your property
We protect floors and landscaping, keep work areas tidy and leave each day with the site secured.
Milestone walkthroughs
At key stages we stop and show you the work, so nothing important is hidden before you have seen it.

What our clients say
Feedback from homeowners we have worked with.
They walked us through every phase of our new build, and the house was dried in before the first big rain. We always knew what came next.
Our back door had not closed right in years. After the pier repair, the floors are level and every door latches again.
The crew replaced our roof in two days, tarped the flower beds and left the yard cleaner than they found it.
When we opened the kitchen wall they found old wiring. They stopped, showed us, and gave us the price before moving on.
Our new driveway finally drains toward the street instead of into the garage.
The walk-in shower is exactly what we pictured, and the tile lines are perfectly straight.

How to Choose a Hurricane-Ready Roof in Metairie
Material matters, but storm performance is decided at the edges, the nailing pattern and the flashing. Here is what to ask before you replace your roof.

Foundation Warning Signs Every South Louisiana Homeowner Should Know
Clay soils and a high water table keep local foundations moving. Learn which signs are cosmetic, which deserve an inspection and what repairs usually involve.

Choosing Siding That Stands Up to New Orleans Humidity
The best siding for a humid climate depends on the wall behind it as much as the product itself. Here is how the main options compare.
